Young and homeless – the dark side of inner-city Cape Town…

Cape Town – yes, that means Table Mountain, beautiful beaches, the Waterfront as well as the nearby Winelands, in short a fantastic holiday and tourist destination. But the social challenges don’t stop at the glittering facade of Cape Town.

According to recent surveys of the City of Cape Town about 7,000 people are currently living on the streets in Cape Town. Many of them are found in the downtown area, the Central Business District (CBD), where they survive in all different manners. We love these people because they have a special place in God’s heart, even if they are often overlooked by society and we want to bring them the love of God in word and deed.
